Game Console

Pokitto is a fun do-it-yourself game console. It is based on an ARM Cortex-M0+ chip, similar to the chips found in home automation, 3D printers and drones. Pokitto is intended to be a fun way to introduce children and hobbyists to embedded electronics. Games are a way to capture the interest of people who have little or no prior knowledge of electronics. With Pokitto, you can begin by playing games, then look at their open source code, modify and finally build your own electronics using Pokitto as a base for your own ideas.

  • Built using an NXP LPC11U68JBD100 at 48MHz with 256kB program memory – 36kB RAM – 4kB EEPROM.
  • Running Mbed OS 2.
  • The project took about 1 year to complte with one engineer working on both hardware and software with one engineer assisting with PCB design.
