Overview

Nuvoton's M453 ARM Cortex-M4 based 32-bit microcontrollers.The NuMicro M453 series with embedded Cortex®-M4F core with DSP extensions and a Floating Point Unit runs up to72 MHz with 40/72/128/256 Kbytes embedded flash memories and 16K/32K-byte embedded SRAM. It is also equipped with plenty of peripheral devices, such as Timers, Watchdog Timers, RTC, PDMA, EBI, UART, Smart Card interface, SD HOST, SPI, I2C, I2S, PWM, Timer, GPIO, LIN, CAN, 12-bit ADC, analog comparator, operational amplifier, temperature sensor, Low Voltage Reset Controller and Brown-out Detector. The M453 also provide USB 2.0 full-speed Device/Host/OTG.

The Nu-mbed M453 has been designed by NuvoTon in collaboration with mbed for prototyping all sorts of devices, especially those requiring the size and price point offered by Cortex-M4®. It is packaged as a development board with connectors to break out to strip board and breadboard.
